I began practicing yoga in my mid-forties, and have been teaching all levels of yoga for over 10 years. I credit yoga for my ability to embrace aging, as well as for the strength and flexibility to face mid-life with grace and ease. I trained at 8 Limbs Yoga and Samarya Center in Seattle, as well as with many nationally known teachers, and have received training in Integrated Movement Therapy, a yoga and neurologically-based therapy developed at The Samarya Center. I teach classes at 5 studios, offer private sessions and experiential workshops and presentations, lead retreats, and offer yoga teacher training for the Fit and 50+.
My light-hearted teaching style and understanding of anatomy, physiology and the healing benefits of yoga, combine to make my classes really fun, very safe, and a gateway to all that yoga has to offer.
